Equipment Hauling: Regulations and Safety
The Canadian Rental Association (CRA) supports equipment rental businesses across Canada through advocacy, education, and the promotion of best practices in safety and operations. As part of this commitment, the CRA is hosting a Lunch & Learn during the National Heavy Equipment Show.
This session, presented by Karl Berzins and Amarpreet Kaur, Transportation Enforcement Officers with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Safety and Enforcement Division, will focus on the regulations and safety considerations affecting companies that haul equipment to job sites by truck or truck and trailer. Attendees will gain practical insights on compliance requirements, reducing risk and liability, and what to expect during roadside inspections.
