Students in rental businesses and manufacturer/supplier operations can apply now for US$88,000 in scholarships — the largest amount of funding ever offered by the ARA Foundation and its affiliate programs, including the Canadian Rental Association (CRA).
That means Canadian students who apply could be eligible for the Leonard Hawk Founders Scholarship, the top scholarship worth US$5,000. That is not all. From the ARA Foundation alone, there are now 10 Undergraduate Scholarships worth US$3,000 each, two Graduate Scholarships worth US$2,500 each and 10 Trade/Technical/Vocational Scholarships worth US$1,500 each. Plus, there are the ARA Region 10/Dorothy Wellnitz Scholarship worth US$1,500 and the ARA Region 10/Doug Mitchell Scholarship worth US$1,500 from the CRA.
“Many students receive multiple scholarships, making the overall monetary award even more substantial, which makes a higher education more affordable,” says Jenni Swanson, ARA Foundation director of development.
